Give yourself to God, and He will make you a carrier of His glory.

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” – Colossians 1:27
Today I want to share with you five practical ways you can release the glory of God to reach those around you in your life:

1. BE FULL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit” – Eph. 5:18
Every morning, and often throughout the day, I ask the Father to fill me with the Holy Spirit. If each of us needs to drink plenty of water on a daily basis to be healthy, how much more should we drink of the Holy Spirit so we can stay spiritually healthy?

Simply ask Him in faith to fill you, and by faith you can receive that infilling.

2. KNOW THAT YOU ARE ALREADY A WITNESS
My life is my message.” – Paul Little
Witnessing isn’t something you “do.” You are already a witness—whether you like it or not!

Your witness is the total package of your attitudes, character and actions. And you are either witnessing for or against God based on how you relate to people and love the lost.

3. PRAY FOR THE SALVATION OF YOUR FAMILY & FRIENDS
Paul makes a statement that I believe every follower of Christ should claim for their unbelieving family members:

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” –Acts 16:31
My wife, Sue, and I have decreed and prayed this over our family and relatives over the years, and we can testify—by the grace of God—that we have seen our entire generation of family members and relatives come to know Christ.

4. LOVE UNBELIEVERS PRACTICALLY
“In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” – Matt. 5:16
In His ministry on earth, Jesus healed the sick, cast out demons and fed the hungry; He loved people in practical and tangible ways.

In the same way, we need to demonstrate unconditional love to the lost. We need to earn the right to be heard.

5. SHARE THE GOSPEL
But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?” – Rom. 10:14
If you want to share the revelation of God’s glory that you have experienced in your own life, be intentional about sharing your testimony with people you meet.

Share the good news that Jesus loves people and that He died for their sins—and He is alive and will transform their lives if they will simply allow Him in.
